Proposed Fee Changes
On May 2, 2023, the County of San Diego’s Board of Supervisors
reviewed an ordinance relating to fees for services provided by the
Recorder. The action taken by the proposed ordinance adjusts certain
existing fees based on the department’s current cost of providing
services. It is expected that consideration and adoption of the
ordinance will take place during a second reading on May 23, 2023 and,
if approved, the fees adjusted will be effective July 1, 2023.
The table below reflects adjustments to the Recorder’s fees based on cost drivers since the fees were established and the department’s ability to deliver the specific service.
